In her role she oversees a team of 60+ merchants and designers who are responsible for driving positive sales and profitable growth in the outlet business channel. She’s a strategic leader that has a proven track record in developing high performing and agile teams. Shawuan is a transformative and effective leader in organizational process improvement, end to end calendar and innovative merchandising systems and tools driven by an innovative and expansive driven mindset. In addition to always searching for what’s next, she’s a fearless advocate and supporter for the advancement of diversity in fashion.

Mike Lackman — Trade Coffee 

Mike is the CEO of Trade, a D-2-C coffee company that connects people to the best locally roasted coffee nationwide, enabling them to discover new coffee and roasters while supporting small businesses through the company’s delightfully smart subscription experiences. Mike was previously the CEO and majority owner at PetFlow, where he and his team built a rapidly growing and profitable retailer that successfully exited to the country’s largest distributor of pet products in 2017.

Steven Tristan Young — Poshmark 

Steven Tristan Young is Chief Marketing Officer at Poshmark, a leading social commerce platform for the next generation of retailers and shoppers, where he leads growth, product, and brand marketing. Steven, a seasoned technology marketing executive, was formerly the Vice President of Growth at GrubHub, where he managed the company’s customer and market level growth business, while also helping shape the company’s brand and customer messaging platforms. Prior to GrubHub, Steven held leadership positions at DIRECTV, American Express, Endurance International Group, and Puma Sports. At American Express, Steven led the marketing efforts for the company’s flagship “Black Card” and “Platinum Card” portfolios, driving the brand design, customer positioning, and marketing communications strategy. 

(moderator) Melissa Campanelli — Women in Retail Leadership Circle

Melissa Campanelli is the co-founder of the Women in Retail Leadership Circle, a unique, members-only networking group that offers enterprise-level women in the retail industry a place to learn, connect and grow. She is also the content and brand director of Total Retail, a media brand focusing on c0suite retailers. Prior to those positions, Melissa spent ten years at DM News, where she was first a senior editor and then deputy editor. She’s also a leading expert in small business e-commerce and author of the books “Entrepreneur Magazine’s Open an Online Business in 10 Days” and “55 Surefire Internet Businesses You Can Start for Under $5,000.”
