Before joining Purple as CEO, Joe Megibow served as SVP/Chief Digital Officer at American Eagle where he oversaw the transformation and growth of their $550+ million DTC business between. Prior to that, Megibow held senior roles with Expedia, Inc., including VP/General Manager of Expedia.com. Megibow most recently served as an Operations Advisor to Advent International, the $41 billion private equity firm. Megibow earned an MBA from Chicago Booth and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
Gail Tifford

Gail Tifford joined WW as Chief Brand Officer in March 2018. In this role, Tifford is responsible for activating the evolution of the WW brand. She oversees global strategy for marketing, content, creative, ecommerce, customer intelligence and consumer products and has been a key leader in the strategy and execution of pivoting from Weight Watchers to WW. Prior to WW, Tifford served as Vice President of Media North America and Global Digital Innovation for Unilever where she led media strategy and implementation for all Unilever categories and brands, and served as a member of the Unilever Global Media Leadership Team. Prior to joining Unilever, Tifford was Vice President, Strategic Partnerships at Viacom, where she developed multi-platform media and marketing programs for the MTV and VH1 brands. Earlier in her career, Tifford spent more than 10 years at Unilever, driving long-term innovation and communication strategy for the Lipton brand in the United States and Canada, and building a growth-centric organizational culture across the Unilever marketing function globally. Tifford is Co-founder of the #SeeHer initiative of the Association of National Advertisers and a Director on the Board of Fossil Group, Inc.

Aaron Sanandres is the co-Founder and CEO of UNTUCKit, one of the fastest-growing men’s retail brands in the U.S. After graduating cum laude from Hamilton College with a double major in government and Asian studies, Aaron Sanandres earned his MBA—with honors—in 2007 at Columbia Business School. After school, Aaron worked at Pricewaterhouse Coopers for 17 years, where he was a partner and worked in transaction services and lead the compensation, tax, and accounting team for the Midwest. He joined the company full time as CEO in 2016. Aaron has since joined the Total Retail Tech Board and won a 2018 Retail Innovator Award for his data work and insights with UNTUCKit.

Nate Checketts is the Co-Founder & CEO of Rhone, a men’s performance lifestyle brand founded in 2014. Prior to Rhone, Nate worked for and consulted with some of the biggest technology and entertainment properties in the world including Cisco, The National Football League, Legends, FanVision and Sport Radar. Nate is also an avid entrepreneur who founded and launched 4 companies before the age of 30, including Rhone and Mangia Technologies, whose patents were later acquired by the San Francisco 49ers. In addition to Rhone, Nate also serves as Chairman of the Board to Beyond Type 1, a non-profit dedicated to the community of those with Type 1 Diabetes. Nate graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in Finance. He and his wife Dayna reside in Connecticut with their three young boys, Gabriel, William and Nicholas.

Shawuan Johnson is a dynamic Executive Vice President/GMM for Tommy Hilfiger Company Stores in North America with over 20 years of experience in diverse business channels and categories. In her role she oversees a team of 60+ merchants and designers who are responsible for driving positive sales and profitable growth in the outlet business channel. She’s a strategic leader that has a proven track record in developing high performing and agile teams. Shawuan is a transformative and effective leader in organizational process improvement, end to end calendar and innovative merchandising systems and tools driven by an innovative and expansive driven mindset. In addition to always searching for what’s next, she’s a fearless advocate and supporter for the advancement of diversity in fashion. Shawuan started her career at Ann Taylor and had held leadership positions at The Limited and Esprit prior to joining Tommy Hilfiger. She’s a senior advisor for BRAAVE at PVH, a business resource group for African Americans. She’s also on the advisory board of BRAG, a non profit organization that prepares and educates professionals and students of color for leadership positions in retail, fashion and related industries.  In addition, she’s on the board of Custom Collaborative, a non profit organization who help women from low income and immigrant communities learn to design, sew and sell sustainable fashion.

Prior to Vera Bradley he was focused on conceiving and growing direct-to-consumer businesses for established companies such as Williams-Sonoma, Amazon, Guthy-Renker, and L’Oreal as well as startups. His work has received a number of honors from the likes of ERA to L2.

Formerly, she was the  president and chief executive officer of Things Remembered, an omnichannel, 600-plus store retailer of personalized gifts headquartered in Highland Heights, Ohio. Most recently, Lisa was president of direct and chief marketing officer at Talbots. Prior to Talbots, Lisa was the executive vice president, chief marketing officer at EXPRESS, where she spearheaded the development of express.com, now a top 100 internet retailer. Lisa was instrumental in building the profile and presence of the brand and contributed to the launch of EXPR on the New York Stock Exchange. Lisa’s expansive career also includes many years at Bloomingdale’s, where she led the planning and marketing teams, became a general merchandising manager, and started bloomingdales.com. Veronika Sonsev is the Co-Founder of the CommerceNext summit, a community and conference for retail and DTC brands. She also leads the retail practice for Chameleon Collective and is a contributor for Forbes. Having started and sold a startup, which worked with some of the largest retailers, Veronika has intimate knowledge of the challenges facing retail and ecommerce today. She is also an advocate for women in business and founded the global non-profit mBolden (formerly Women in Wireless). Veronika has spoken at dozens of retail conferences, contributed to a number of publications and have been interviewed by NPR, WSJ and TechCrunch. Her success as an entrepreneur combined with her support for women in digital has led Fast Company to include her in its League of Extraordinary Women and TechWeek to name Veronika as one of the Top 100 digital leaders in New York.
