She is the former deputy editor of Footwear News magazine and the recipient of Penske Media Corporation’s Journalistic & Creative Excellence Award for her coverage of diversity issues in fashion. In 2024, she received the prestigious Azbee Regional Gold Award and the National Silver Award for impact and investigative journalism. She has interviewed some of fashion’s most influential executives as well as designers and entertainers.
